Jeff Johnson Analyst Performance

Jeff Johnson is Baird’s Senior Research Analyst covering Medical Technology. In recent years, Jeff has been recognized in the StarMine Analyst Awards by Refinitiv as the No. 2 stock picker in Health Care Equipment & Supplies (2020) and was ranked by TipRanks as the fourth best Wall Street analyst in 2018 and as a Top 100 Wall Street analyst in 2019. Jeff has also been named one of the Top 32 Most Influential People in Dentistry by Incisal Edge for three years running (from 2019-2021). Prior to joining Baird in 2003, Jeff was an optometrist and the associate director of Refractive Surgery Services at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and earlier in his career held positions as an instructor of ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and an adjunct-assistant professor of optometry at the New England College of Optometry. He received his MBA from Northwestern University, graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry, and did his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
