Rep. Chris Stewart Stock Trading Activity

Chris Stewart (Republican Party) was a member of the U.S. House, representing Utah's 2nd Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2013. He left office on September 15, 2023.

Stewart (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Utah's 2nd Congressional District. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Stewart resigned from the House on September 15, 2023. Stewart was re-elected to his fourth term in November 2018 with 56 percent of the vote after being selected as the Republican candidate in a nominating convention on April 12, 2018.

He was first elected to the office in November 2012. Stewart served on the Committee on Appropriations and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

He is also the owner of the Shipley Group, an environmental law consultation company. Stewart was raised with his nine brothers and sisters on a dairy farm in Idaho.

He graduated from Sky View High School. He took a hiatus from college at Utah State University to work as a Mormon missionary in Texas before graduating in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in economics.
