Her career experience includes working as a social services administrator, a community organizer, and a policy advocate. Ramirez co-founded Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON), and has served as the executive director of Center for Changing Lives and the board chair of the Latin United Community Housing Association (LUCHA) and Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA).
