He earned a B.S. in social sciences from the United States Air Force Academy, an M.S. in administration from Central Michigan University, an M.A. in sociology from East Carolina University, and an Ed.D. in educational leadership from East Carolina University. Davis' career experience includes working as a college instructor, admissions advisor, and lay minister.
