George Latimer, Representative from New York's 16th District

George Latimer (Democratic Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing New York's 16th Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2025. His current term ends on January 3, 2027. Latimer (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent New York's 16th Congressional District. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024. George Latimer graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1970. He earned his B.A. in history and theology from Fordham University in 1974 and his M.P.A. from New York University's Wagner School in 1976. His professional experience includes being a marketing executive for Nestle and Benchmark Hospitality. He was elected to the Rye City Council, serving from 1988 to 1992, and to be a Westchester County Legislator, serving from 1992 to 2004. Latimer was elected in 2017 to serve as the Westchester County executive.
