Jared Huffman (Democratic Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing California's 2nd Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2013. His current term ends on January 3, 2025.
Huffman (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent California's 2nd Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the primary scheduled on March 5, 2024.
He was first elected to the seat in 2012. In 2018, Huffman won the general election, beating Dale Mensing (R) by a vote of 77 percent to 23 percent.
Huffman previously represented District 6 of the California State Assembly from 2006 to 2012. He was ineligible to run for re-election to the California State Assembly in 2012 due to term limits.
