He earned a B.S. in marine biology from Texas A&M University in 1991 and an M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1995. Jackson's career experience includes working as a physician with the White House Medical Unit in the George W. Bush administration, and as a physician to the president with the Barack Obama and Donald Trump administrations.
