About Mullen Automotive

Mullen Automotive (NASDAQ:MULN), an electric vehicle company was founded in 2014 and is based in Brea, California. Mullen Automotive, Inc is the result of a merger between Coda automotive and Mullen Motorcars. The two companies were complementary to each other and resulted in a new business with the capability to design and manufacture world-class EVs.

Mullen Automotive, Inc was founded by David Michery who is now the company’s CEO and chairman. Mr. Michery has over 25 years of executive management experience and is instrumental in creating the company’s brand and vision.

Today, the company is focused on making green technology greener by improving on battery technology, and EV efficiency, and has several vehicles slated for production as well as other EV-related ventures. Among the company’s many goals are to build EVs entirely in the US for the US consumer making them accessible to a wider range of drivers. The company offers an end-to-end EV experience that begins in the design room and ends at the service station.

The company’s flagship vehicle is the FIVE, an all-electric compact SUV crossover with a range of up to 325 miles per charge. The FIVE is the first of several vehicle platforms under development including the Dragonfly and a line of final-mile delivery vehicles. The Dragonfly is an all-EV high-performance sports car that can go 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 125 miles per hour. The cargo vans are built to Class-1 and Class-2 specifications and have ranges of up to 155 and 200+ miles.

Among Mullen Automotive’s other endeavors is battery technology. The company is working to manufacture lithium-sulfur batteries which will provide several benefits over the industry-standard lithium-ion batteries. The major benefits are 5X more energy density, 50% less cost per watt-hour, an exceptional safety profile, and sustainability.

EVs equipped with a lithium-sulfur batter would be lighter, have greater range, and be more efficient than their lithium-ion counterparts. Early test results of a solid-state battery exceeded all expectations and suggest EVs with a 600-mile range are more than possible. The company has a partnership with Linghang Gouchang Group for the production of EV battery packs that should be available for the 2nd generation FIVE SUVs.

Mullen Automotive also operates CarHub, a digital platform that leverages AI to offer an interactive solution for buying, selling, and owning a car. CarHub connects buyers and sellers through a national network and is also being leveraged as a marketing tool for the Mullen Automotive line of vehicles.
