On January 12, 2023, Ares Capital Corporation revealed its intention to make a public offering of 9 million shares of common stock with the possibility of an additional 1.35 million shares. The necessary registration statement was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 3, 2021, and became effective on the day of filing. Morgan Stanley & Co.
