The Company produces nitrogen, potash and phosphate fertilizers, with a combined wholesale nutrient capacity of approximately 11 million tones. Agrium Inc supplies main products and services directly to growers, including crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, as well as agronomic and application services. The Company's retail-distribution has a network of approximately 1,500 facilities and over 3,300 crop consultants who provide advice and products to crop growers. The Company operates under the following segments: Retail and Wholesale. Its Retail segment distributes crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed and merchandise and provides financial and other services directly to growers through a network of farm centers in North America and Internationally. Its Wholesale segment produces, markets and distributes crop nutrients and industrial products.
