Further, the company engages in the purification of cooking gas; production of coal products and dissolved acetylene; and sale of compressed and liquefied gas. Additionally, it engages in e-commerce and technology consulting, technology development, technology services, technology transfer, and value-added telecommunications services; sales of equipment for gas and liquid separation and purification; supply chain financial services; hazardous chemicals; processing and sale of steel rolling and steel coils, and steel trade activities. Its products are used in various industries, such as machinery, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, coal, electricity, railway, ship, automobile, construction, home appliances, and aviation industries. The company also exports its products. The company was formerly known as Angang New Steel Company Limited and changed its name to Angang Steel Company Limited in June 2006. Angang Steel Company Limited was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Anshan, China. Angang Steel Company Limited is a subsidiary of Anshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.
