It also owns interest in the Escalones copper-gold porphyry project covering an area of 70 square kilometers located in the Chilean copper belt. The company was formerly known as South American Silver Corp. and changed its name to TriMetals Mining Inc. in March 2014. TriMetals Mining Inc. was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
