The Growth Index is a subset of the S&P 500 and consists of those stocks in the S&P 500 exhibiting the strongest growth characteristics. The Growth Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Growth Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Growth Index. Due to the use of representative sampling, the Growth Fund may or may not hold all of the securities that are included in the Growth Index. The Growth Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors, which is indirectly owned by BlackRock, Inc.
