The Broadcasting & Production segment creates, produces, and broadcasts entertainment, information, and public affairs programming; operates a French-language television network, as well as provides nine specialty services; markets digital products associated with various televisual brands; and distributes audiovisual products and films. This segment is also involved in commercial production activities. The Magazines segment publishes magazines in various fields, such as the arts, entertainment, television, fashion, and decoration; markets digital products associated with various magazine brands; and provides custom publishing services. The Film Production & Audiovisual Services segment offers soundstage, mobile unit and production equipment rental, dubbing, postproduction, visual effect, and distribution services. The company was formerly known as Télé-Métropole Inc. and changed its name to TVA Group Inc. in February 1998. TVA Group Inc. was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada. TVA Group Inc. is a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc.
